It is the third week of July.
Somewhere outside of Traverse City, Michigan, a woman is standing at the end of a long row of cherry trees. Her hands are stained red. The sun is doing what the summer sun in the Midwest does — everything, all at once, without apology.
She is not thinking about her commute. She is not thinking about her inbox.
She is thinking about how nothing on earth smells quite like this.
We have been thinking about it too.
BERRY GOOD soap begins where a warm morning in the Pacific Northwest ends — that precise moment when the blueberries on the bush are so ripe that passing within three feet of them is almost too much. Add to that the dark sweetness of a blackberry thicket in Georgia in August, the bright pop of a strawberry stand on a Vermont roadside, the fleeting, perfect scent of cherries just before they're gone for another year.
This is not a fruity soap in the way that gas station air fresheners are fruity.
This is the real thing.
A generous lather that rinses clean and leaves skin soft, hydrated, genuinely nourished. Coconut oil. Olive oil. Rice bran. Castor. The oils that actually do something. No palm oil. No shortcuts. Handcrafted in small batches in Troy, New York by someone who understands that a bar of soap, done properly, is one of the small dignities of daily life.
Summer doesn't last forever.
This comes close.
Net wt. 4.2 oz. Naturally biodegradable. Ships from Troy, New York.
